About the Author
Kelly Cricchio is an art history instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area who is passionate about exploring women’s contributions to the visual arts. Her graduate work explored female patrons in early modern Venice, but her interest in women’s artworks spans across time and cultures. She loves to travel and has dedicated many trips within the United States and abroad to (re)discovering the locations of artworks created, commissioned, and collected by women. Through carefully curated museum guides, timelines, and bibliographies, Picturing Herstory encourages you to begin your own art herstorical research too!
